the 4th Annual Congress on Healthcare Quality and Safety to be held on September 23rd and 24 that the Monroe Hotel, Beirut.


Dear Colleagues,

On behalf of the Lebanese Society for Quality and Safety in Healthcare, it is my great pleasure to invite you to the 4th Annual Congress on Healthcare Quality and Safety to be held on September 23rd and 24that the Monroe Hotel, Beirut. 

Two intensive days of lectures and workshops on team building, local and international experts from Cleveland Clinic, IHI and WHO will animate coaching, operational excellence, improvement tools and innovations in safety.

In parallel with the professional workshops, in the first day morning session, and under the title : ‘’The added value of multidisciplinary approach on the quality of care in diabetes management’’,  an awareness session is addressed to the general public, to create / increase awareness on daily management of their disease and to highlight the importance and complementing role of a multidisciplinary team, in order to improve the Diabetes treatment outcomes and reduce the risks of avoidable related  complications. This session will be animated by Mrs. Fadia Doumani, who lately developed the national strategic plan for the national diabetes program. The session will have a special setting in the exhibition area.

An exceptional Opening Ceremony is followed by a round table to discuss new insights in Healthcare Prevention Policies and Programs in collaboration with the Lebanese Ministry of Public Health, the healthcare orders and the Lebanese Syndicate of Hospitals. This session will be animated by  the Director of Strategy & Business development of the International Prevention Research Institute (iPRI): Dr Pierre Anhoury.

 

During this congress we are launching the exhibition under the title “Value for Healthcare”. The value for a safer care is to create a safe environment in different domains:

  • Improvement in medications safety
  • Hygiene products and solutions for safe care
  • Effective communication to enhance safe care 
  • Improvement of the patient engagement in their safety 
  • Reduction of the risk of harm (patient fall, pain management, …)
  • Improvement of the identification process of patients
  • Development of safety checklist 
  • Simulation solution in healthcare
  • IT solution for sharing data, software, …
