News
Dear colleagues and friends,
Following the great success of the first edition, I would like in my name and in the name of the management of ND Maritime hospital to invite you to the second edition of our International Emergency Medicine Conference that will be held in the framework of Byblos Health activities organized by the hospital from the 8th to the 13th of April, 2019. Plenary sessions will be held on the 12th and 13th of April, at St John Marc parish house (Ontoch) and the workshops will take place at Byblos Cultural Center, LAU School of Medicine and ND Maritime Hospital.
The support of both National Orders of physicians and nurses as well as the Lebanese French Medical Association and prominent International societies of emergency medicine grant this event an even greater importance.
A very rich and varied scientific program is offered along with a series of workshops targeting all emergency professionals. In addition to the scientific themes, conferences and workshops around management and quality within the Emergency Department will be held this year. Speakers and delegates from different countries will be given the opportunity to share and exchange knowledge and expertise and explore the latest medical technologies.
My sincere thanks go to all speakers and moderators as well as to the scientific and organization committees’ members for their dedicated efforts to make this congress a success. I would like also to express my gratitude to the superior general of St John Marc parish home and to the Municipal Council of Byblos for their unconditional support.
Last but not least, I would like to thank all the sponsors and Institutions for their continuous collaboration and commitment in our hospital activities.
Looking forward to seeing you all in Byblos, millenary city and cradle of the alphabet.
Joseph Chami, MD
CEO of ND Maritime Hospital
