5th Annual Congress on Healthcare Quality and Safety- September 8-9, 2017- Opening Ceremony and Program
Dear Colleagues,
On behalf of the Lebanese Society for Quality & Safety in Healthcare, it gives me a great pleasure to announce the Fifth Annual Congress, which will take place on September 8 and 9, 2017 at the ESA Business School in Beirut.
The theme for this year’s Congress is “Bridging the gap for a safer care”.
The theme for this year’s Congress is “Bridging the gap for a safer care”.
The opening ceremony and the whole event are under the Patronage of his Excellency the Vice Prime Minister and Minister of public Health, Mr. Ghassan Hasbani.
On the first day four workshops sessions will be held in the English and French languages as parallel sessions. The sessions will be conducted by International Experts and will tackle management of resources and the communication of adverse events to patients and families.
The congress on the next day will focus on how healthcare institutions can build the path for safer care by introducing and implementing safety goals and adopting strategies for monitoring and measurement.
Moreover, it will focus on how new technologies can keep patient safety at a top level of the organization’s goals and how effective communication between all stakeholders and the implementation of a just culture can help people to improve their practice continuously.
The last part of the Congress will focus on the role of accreditation in building and sustaining a safety culture.
